Bert is currently the Vice Chairman Emeritus of Waffle House. He previously served as President and CEO of leading Waffle House in their greatest time of growth. He’s more infamously known on the Waffle House menu as the Bert behind Bert’s Chili. He is also the author of two nationally acclaimed books, “Find an Old Gorilla: Pathways Through The Jungle of Business and Life” and “High-Impact Mentoring: A Practical Guide to Creating Value in Other People's Lives.” Bert discusses with Jack his journey of being a part of Waffle House and being a leader in business and life.
